I was very insecure growing up.  I had been abused, rejected and hurt.  I continually made bad choices and became an addict because of it.  This left me feeling ashamed and alone.  I was hooked and continued for many years.  My life was out of control.

I accepted Jesus throughout my life but didn't completely understand it; therefore I had one foot in the world and one foot out.  My life continued out of control until finally I hit rock bottom.  I got on my knees and prayed.  He heard my prayer and rescued me!

On September 26, 2006 my life changed forever.  I accepted Jesus into my heart and then was baptized in the Atlantic Ocean with my new church family there.  My Savior lives in me now.  I know now "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). Praise be to our Lord and Savior!
